We're always looking to fill out our product line so that we can offer the most popular sizes of molds to help you build profits. Here are our current plans for new molds we're working on.

3" Tall: 6" and 7" Round and 8" Heart

We previously offered 3" tall round molds in diameters of 8", and 9". We are now pleased to be shipping our new 7" round (CAD drawing below) and 6"molds!

An 8" Heart mold is also in progress, with availablity sometime during 2010 (hopefully, we'll have product in time for the Valentine's Day cakes!)

2" Tall: 7" Round and 8" Heart

In our 2" tall models, we currently offer diameters of 6" and 8". We're planning to also produce our own 8" heart and 7" round versions of these as well, hopefully sometime in 2009.

Heart Pop Molds

We're thinking of doing a small heart shaped pop mold that could also double as a tartufo. This would likely be a 3 oz mold, and will possibly be ready for spring of '09.

New Pop Mold

We also have plans to correct the design flaw in our current 4 ounce pop mold. The stick opening for this was designed to accomodate larger plastic handles, which turned out to be a bit of "over thinking", as just about everyone uses a standard popsicle stick for these, and the larger opening causes leaks when trying to make sorbet or juice pops.

Additionally, several customers have asked for a slightly smaller pop, as the 4 ounce is a rather generous for a single serving.

To address these concerns, we plan to produce a new pop mold, similar in shape to our existing 4 ounce mold, but only 3 to 3.5 ounces, and with a tighter opening for a popsicle stick, similar to our existing 2.5 ounce small pop mold. We'll likely try to have this ready for sales in the spring of 2009.

Sweetheart Mold

And, as a special project, we're also in development on a small "Sweetheart" mold, which we're planning as a two-person portion. This mold will come in a two or four cavity version, and we're targeting it to be ready in time for Valentine's Day, 2010.

8" Square Pan

We've also had requests for an 8" square mold, so we'll likely start looking at producing this sometime in 2009.

3" tall Quarter Sheet Pan

While we currently offer our CMC9132 mold, which is a 2" tall quarter sheet, we've had people asking if we could produce a 3" tall version. This is a possibility, but will likely not happen until sometime late in 2009 or even into 2010.

When we get around to doing this, we're planning to make the dimensions of the new sheet slightly smaller -- probably 8.25" by 12.25", as the current sheet is a bit tight to fit in the standard quarter sheet cake boxes without messing up any decorations on the sides.
