Pop Molds
Create your own, professional-looking ice cream novelties with our flexible pop molds. We offer three sizes of pop molds. Each mold is capable of making 5 pops at a time and is perfect for chocolate-covered vanilla pops, sorbet pops, gelato pops, or for your gourmet specialty. Use your imagination!
Our ice cream bar molds are designed with a “slit” to accommodate a standard ice cream stick.
This slit makes it possible to make frozen treats with ice cream or liquid with only minimal leakage!
NOTE: The Large ice cream bar mold was originally designed with a wider stick opening, enabling it to be used with the wider “bow-tie” sticks or with plastic handles found on some ice cream novelties (the plastic handles are not available from Cold Molds.) This opening made the large mold unsuitable for making pops from a very liquidy filling, such as juice pops, as the larger opening would allow liquid to leak. We re-engineered this mold in 2023 to make it slightly larger (now an even 5 fluid ounces) and to have a standard stick opening slot that fits tightly around a regular popsicle stick.
Why Cold Molds?
Our Small pop mold measures just over 3″ tall, 1.8″ wide (at the widest point), and 1″ deep. It holds 2.75 fluid ounces of product, and has a stick slot that fits tightly around our standard ice cream stick, helping to minimize any leakage when using a very liquidy filling (making it suitable for Juice pops.)
Our “Cookie Disk” mold is our most versatile mold. This unique mold produces a 3″ disk, 1″ thick and is designed for making either ice cream sandwich inserts or bar-on-a-stick novelties. Each mold yields six 3″ x 1″ disks, each containing approximately 3.75 fluid ounces.
This mold is designed with a “slit” to accommodate a standard popsicle stick. This slit makes it possible to make frozen treats on a stick with ice cream or liquid, with very little leakage.
Our Medium pop mold measures 4″ tall, 1.938″ wide (at the widest point), and 1″ deep. It holds 4.0 fluid ounces of product, and has a stick slot that fits tightly around our standard ice cream stick, helping to minimize any leakage when using a very liquidy filling (making it suitable for Juice pops.)
Our Large pop mold was re-engineered in 2023 to be similar to our Small and Medium pop molds. This is a five-cavity mold.
The cavities now measure 5″ tall, 2.0″ wide (at the widest point), and 1″ deep and hold 5.0 fluid ounces of product. Each cavity has an opening that allows it to accommodate a standard ice cream stick.
